I woke up one day with my right eye closed and thought I was going blind lol. I first noticed it in my left eye while on deployment(in the Navy).

It's tough to stay competitive with people that are putting in substantially more time, but it's still possible OP

I've also pretty much kept my mouse the same through all the years, which I think has kept feel consistent (still use Logitech mice, still use high DPI w/ low windows & game sensitivity + mouse accel off, etc). Once I'm feeling warm, I'll focus on specific skills - single tap headshots, double tap headshots, flick taps, spray control, etc. I personally play DM (or aim/awp maps if you have friends or can find a pub with it going) to get warm. When I'm playing something serious, where I want to perform well, I still like to warm up with CS - albeit CSGO now. All of those moments coincided with consistent playtime, though. However, I've had moments in time where most of my raw mechanical skills have resurfaced. I went from playing like 60+ hours a week to playing 20 hours in a month it had a really tangible impact on my abilities. Honestly, I noticed a severe drop in my skills in my mid 20's, when I wasn't devoting as much time to playing. I'm in my early 30's and previously played CS professionally, along with a number of other shooters in a competitive environment. The device I am speaking of, and the ones likely mentioned below use a specific dongle to talk to the devices, not a generic BT radio (these would never work as windows is required for the driver), so this is likely how my devices worked in BIOS too. It's mostly a time commitment thing, IMO.

It's not true for all BT devices, but the below confirms what I said is true, even if the driver changes to a basic connection to allow access to the BIOS.

I wouldn't say I've done this if I haven't. Please see this post on the link you provided. Using a wired or wireless usb keyboard works just fine.

One day I had to restore an image to my surface and I wasn't able to using a Bluetooth device.

Though I ditched the wireless keyboard setup a while back, too many things can get in the way and they can be hacked.Īt home, I have a Surface Pro 2 with a Bluetooth keyboard & mouse. I used to have a Microsoft Entertainment desktop pack, keyboard and mouse, BT connected and that worked well for the BIOS. I would need to use a wired or wireless usb. I really don't like to use Bluetooth because it doesn't work if you want to get into the bios or recovery mode. Maybe to resolve this will be using Bluetooth mice/keyboards. It seems to only effect wireless usb receivers. I have updated the chipset drivers, replaced the batteries and replaced the dell brand with a different brand (Logitech). BUT if there are a bunch of USB peripherals connected in the back of the computer - then problem comes back.

I was able to resolve it by moving the usb receiver to a usb port on the back of the computer. Everything gets back to normal when the transfer finish. My keyboard gets a delay typing and my mouse seems to lag. Now I insert a 8GB usb flash drive into one of the 3įront usb ports AND yet no problem - UNTIL I started to transfer files to the usb flash drive. I insert the Dell wireless usb receiver into one of the ports. Let's say I have 4 USB ports in front of the Dell desktop computer. I'm using a Dell wireless keyboard & mouse.
